For Alness we worked with partners Highlife Highland and Home-Start
Highlife Highland work with a group of migrant ladies who meet up to cook and socialise each week. They were a lovely group to work with and really engaged with the idea of digital storytelling. Their plan is to create videos to tell a story of their cooking. They really enjoyed creating ‘Stop Motion’ videos and also using Kinemaster to create digital stories using photos and videos.
In partnership with Highlife Highland sessions were also run in the local library.
In partnership with Home-Start we worked with a group of young mothers. This group really embraced learning how to tell digital stories and were keen to share ‘Stop Motion’ with their children which they thought would be a great way of engaging their kids in being creative with digital devices. We also explored how to stay safe online and keep kids safe online.
