Dingwall
In Dingwall we have worked with a number of partners, Highlife Highland, The Muir Hub and Home-Start
In partnership with Home-Start we worked with a group of young mothers. This group really embraced learning how to tell digital stories and were keen to share ‘Stop Motion’ with their children which they thought would be a great way of engaging their kids in being creative with digital devices. We also explored how to stay safe online and keep kids safe online.
Two groups were run in partnership with The Muir Hub, a community group of learners and an Art for Mental Health group. Both groups really engaged with digital storytelling and the Art group in particular really embraced telling stories through ‘Stop Motion’ animation.
In partnership with Highlife Highland a group was run in the library with a very keen group of older learners, many of whom were very new to smart devices, but really embraced learning new skills.
