Jamie Trout is Digital Inclusion Manager with Simon Community Scotland and heads up the incredible Get Digital Scotland programme. This multi-agency approach ensures that people affected by or working in homelessness get the opportunity to experience an improved quality of life by benefiting from the digital world. Digital Connections

In today’s increasingly digital world, being digitally connected brings many advantages, such as improved job opportunities, wider access to knowledge and communication, cheaper goods and services, opportunities for social, cultural and civic engagement.

However, there is growing evidence that there is a significant number of people who are not able to make use of these opportunities.

At Mhor Collective, we are passionate about lessening that digital divide and creating a more equal society and that’s why the work of Mhor Collective is solely focussed on digital participation.

Working with Communities, Organisations and Individuals

Mhor Collective specialises in the development, delivery and management of cohesive and sustainable digital participation programmes and digital skills training and support.

Ours is a bespoke service meaning we tailor the breadth and depth of support that we give to your own particular set of requirements.

It may be that you need digital inclusion training for your frontline staff to help them deal with your own client groups, or digital skills training and support for your staff to give them confidence and knowledge and enable them to become digital champions, in turn supporting others. There may be a requirement for the development and management of community-based learning opportunities for individuals who need a bit of extra support with their digital skills. You may want help developing and leading a partnership project with a variety of different local bodies. Whatever your need in the digital participation area, we have the skills and the experience to help.
